Across The Line

Chiara and Giulia are two seventeen-year-olds living the same, oppressive reality. Every day of their lives is punctuated by the possessive and threatening messages from their respective boyfriends, a single controlling voice that isolates them from the world. Their daily routine is always the same: a journey interrupted by a glance at the Carabinieri barracks, an opportunity for salvation they fail to seize. Trapped in a cage of jealousy and violence, with their suffering mistaken for love, the girls struggle to catch their breath and find the strength to take a step that could change their stories forever.
