Sakura (Land Of Symphony)

The short film “Sakura サクラ – Land of Symphony” tells the story of Hitoshi, a Japanese violinist who misses the ship he was due to board in Ancona and finds himself, through a series of coincidences and chance encounters, travelling through the Marche region. In the company of Chiara, a designer from area, Hitoshi discovers an unexpected emotional connection with a territory unknown to him. Along the way, amidst villages, hills, ancient hermitages and works of art, the protagonist is gradually transformed by his surroundings, until a seemingly insignificant detail reveals to him that perhaps the missed ship was a rendezvous with destiny.
