Amin, an aspiring screenwriter living in Paris, returns for the summer to his hometown, a fishing community in the south of France.
An opportunity to reconnect with family and childhood friends. Accompanied by his cousin Tony and his best friend Ophelie, Amin spends his time between his parents’ Tunisian restaurant, the local bars and the beach frequented by girls on holiday. Enchanted by the many female figures around him, Amin is captivated by these summer sirens, in contrast to his Dionysian cousin who throws himself into the euphoria of the flesh. Armed with his camera and guided by the dazzling light of the Mediterranean coast, Amin pursues his philosophical quest by throwing himself into writing his screenplays. But when the time for love arrives, only fate, only the Mektoub, can decide.
