Palazzo Starita
Palazzo Starita, which borders Piazza del Ferrarese and architecturally complements the historic Palazzo del Sedile, has always been one of the most important architectural and cultural landmarks in the city of Bari.
Fondazione Puglia has acquired the building, which historically belonged to the Starita family, to use it for institutional purposes in the ‘art and cultural activities’ sector, planning a major project involving structural consolidation and functional redevelopment of the property.
During Bif&st 2026 it will host the Photography Exhibition
Circolo della Vela
Founded on 10 May 1929 in a historic location behind the Teatro Margherita in Bari, the Circolo della Vela has never been merely a sports club. A landmark for the regional capital, it has always seen social and cultural activities go hand in hand with competitive events, demonstrating an openness and involvement in city life as well as making significant contributions in terms of civic collaboration.

Teatro Petruzzelli
This splendid Italianate theatre in the heart of Bari is the region’s most prestigious cultural venue, the fourth-largest theatre in Italy, and the largest private theatre in Europe. The building’s Umbertine style blends harmoniously with the rest of the Murat district, the newer part of the city.
During Bif&st 2026 it will host it will host ‘Rosso di Sera’, ‘Incontri di Cinema’, and ‘Pomeriggio al Petruzzelli’
Jr Hotels Oriente
Headquarters of the Bif&st 2026 organising committee, Jr Hotels Oriente Bari is a prestigious 4-star hotel situated a short walk from the historic centre of the Apulian capital and the historic Petruzzelli Theatre. This elegant Art Nouveau hotel in the heart of Bari is housed in the majestic Palazzo Marroccoli, a building in the floral style dating from the early 20th century.
Multicinema Galleria
Located in the centre of Bari, a short walk from the Central Station, the Multicinema Galleria is a landmark for all cinema lovers.
Opened in 1948, it was converted into a ‘multiplex’ in 2005, offering the city a modern and comfortable venue with high-quality standards, featuring seven screens and a summer arena.
During Bif&st 2026 it will host ‘Per il cinema italiano’, the ‘Retrospettiva Tornatore’, ‘Sarò Breve’, ‘Frontiere’ and ‘Notti Horror’
Anchecinema
AncheCinema is managed by AncheCinema s.r.l., which has been active since 2001 in film production and distribution, publishing and the organisation of cultural events. In 2016, the company redeveloped and renovated the historic ‘Royal’ cinema theatre, dating back to 1935 (formerly known as the ‘Teatro dei ferrovieri’, then ‘Cinema Lucciola’), using private funds, transforming it into a multi-purpose venue suitable for hosting a wide range of cultural, artistic and educational activities.

Kursaal Santalucia Theatre
Strolling along the Goffredo di Crollalanza seafront, close to the small gardens of Largo Adua, stands one of the most beautiful buildings in Bari, constructed in the late Art Nouveau style. Set within a characteristic green setting beyond which the sea can be glimpsed, the Kursaal Santalucia features large openings in its central section, offering a glimpse of the splendour of the Sala Giuseppina, embellished with high reliefs and frescoes by the brothers Mario and Guido Prayer.

“Niccolò Piccinni” Conservatory
The “Niccolò Piccinni” Conservatory of Music in Bari is one of the most important institutions for advanced musical training in Italy. It is a dynamic, active, attractive and welcoming environment for talented young musicians from all over the world who wish to fully realise their artistic potential and acquire new skills and professional qualifications. During Bif&st 2026 it will host a workshop and a special masterclass
Cinema il Piccolo
Owned by the Parish of Spirito Santo, it is managed directly by the parish itself. Cinema Il Piccolo possesses a strong cultural identity that establishes it as a cultural venue offering a programme structured around moments of entertainment and reflection, organised according to a meaningful schedule that takes into account the selection of films, production, quality and nationality of the films, but above all the demands of the audience that frequents the venue.
