On the outskirts of Perugia. A beautiful young girl is found in a ditch wearing a high-fashion outfit. The police are about to remove the body when a sigh reveals she is still alive: her name is Rosa Lazar, she is Moldovan and not even 16 years old. Deputy Public Prosecutor Cristina Camponeschi and psychologist Stefano Mangiaboschi are immediately called in to handle the case. The investigation proves more complicated than expected, because Rosa seems unaware of the brutal violence she has suffered and conceals the truth of what has happened. Behind the mask of incessant cheerfulness, a deeply disturbed psychological profile emerges. How did this Lolita, who does not seem like a normal prostitute and behaves like a child, end up in Perugia? For the deputy prosecutor, Rosa will become the key to an international investigation into disturbing scenarios.
